現在の全インターネットの日々のトラフィックの2%は一つの動画ストリーミングサイトから来ているのだ。それがかの有名なエロ動画ストリーミングサイトYouPornである。

プライマリのデータストアは100%Redisだそうだ。Redisの巨大クラスタを組んでいるそう。パーシステントストアとしてMySQLを使っていて、フロントアプリはPHPで書いてあり、Ngnixがwebサーバー、HAProxyとVarnishでロードバランシングして、どこかは明らかでないけれど商用CDNを使っているそうだ。

この記事を見る限りクールで人に自慢できるようなテクノロジーが一つもないように見えるけれど、一つのサービスが全インターネットのトラフィックの2%を捌いているというのは、あまりにスゴすぎるな。

ちなみに全インターネットのトラフィックの30%以上はポルノですから。インターネットの1/3はポルノでできていて、インターネットのほとんどはバカコンテンツでできていますから、そこのところをお間違いないように。
